HOW TO FIND TEMPLATES NAME OF A BLOG IN BLOGGER ?

Well I have most often seen bloggers removing the footbar of blog to hide the name of the templates. So i have found a way to know the name of template. Note it is not 100% effective but work in nearly all cases. e.g till now i have found no blog whoes template name i cannot Know.

1: SO first step is to open the blog's address. in this case I am doing it with myself.
2: Now Right click on the page and click view page source.

3: Now the source of the Blog will appear like this:

4: Now Scroll down to find the text like below:

NOW YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE THE TEXT WHICH TELLS THE NAME OF THE TEMPLATE , IT'S AUTHOR AND WEBSITE.

How To Remove Showing Posts With Label In Blogger

For any default Blogger layout, the "Showing posts with label" message shows up above the posts whenever you click on a label link.

As it's a pretty useless and annoying message, many people like to have it removed. If that is your wish, just follow the tutorial below:

Removing "Showing post with label...show all posts"

Step 1.

If you are using the old Blogger interface:

• Go to Dashboard - Design - Edit HTML - Expand Widget Template (make a backup)

If you are using the new Blogger interface:

• Go to Dashboard - Template - Edit HTML - Proceed - Expand Widget Template (make a backup)

Step 2. Now find (CTRL+F) this code in the template:

Here is a tutorial on adding a Facebook Like box (formerly a Fan box) to Blogger/blogspot. It’s a good way to promote your Facebook page. A Like box lets your readers:

• See how many users already Liked your page.
• Like your Facebook page with just one click, without having to visit the page.
• Read your page’s recent posts (if you choose to display them).

Now let’s proceed shall we?

I) Get your Facebook page ID URL

1. Visit Facebook and go to your page.
   
   
2. Copy the Id URL from your browser’s address bar. It’s at the end of the url.  Trim the URL until you get something like this: 
   http://www.facebook.com/pages/Blogger-Sentral/115496238467364 
   [http://www.facebook.com/pages/PAGE-NAME/PAGE ID]

II) Configure your Like box

1. Go to Facebook Like box configuration page (opens in a new tab/window). You will see a configuration box, like this (Facebook has replaced Facebook Page ID with Facebook Page URL):
   
   
2. Now paste your page ID URL inside the Facebook Page ID URL text box.
3. Set other parameters such as width, height and stream. The Preview on the right will update itself as you enter the changes.
4. Click Get Code button when done. You’ll be given two codes, titled iframeand XFBML. You only need the iframe code.
5. The iframe code should look more or less like this (do not copy this code):

   Update February 2011: 
   It seems Facebook (perhaps erroneously) has the box height fixed to 62px. This allows only your Facebook page title and the Like button to appear inside the box. The faces will be hidden. To show them, you must increase the height. For example, to show two rows of faces, change the height to 280px. There are twoheights in the code, make sure you change both.
6. Copy the code (the code provided by Facebook, not the sample code in no.5).
7. In Blogger, go to Layout and click a Add-A-Gadget link. Select HTML/Javascript gadget and paste the code in the content box.
8. Save and view your blog.
9. Enjoy!

Add the Google Analytics Code Block to Your Blogger Blog

1. Login to http://www.blogger.com/. The Dashboard loads.

3. Click on Edit HTML. An editing screen for your blog template’s HTML displays. Don’t freak out. Just scroll to the bottom.
4. Look for the end of the template. It’ll look like:

1. To ensure that you have successfully added the Google Analytics Code Block to your Blogger blog, go back to http://google.com/analytics/.
2. Next to your blog’s URL it will say either Receiving Data (you were successful) or Tracking Not Installed (something is amiss).
3. If it said Tracking Not Installed, click on Check Status. Google then checks your blog for the Analytics Code Block and reports back if it find it or not.
4. If not, try re-pasting the Code Block in.
